A beautiful Lidded Bean Pot made by Ben Owen III in his early years of pottery-making. Using his grandfather's traditional Orange Glaze, this piece is a lovely example of the Owen Family aesthetic influenced by traditional English-style ceramic art as well as the Busbee family's influence toward Asian-styled ceramic art. Measuring 6"dia. x 6.25"h to top of handle.
Not for food, baking or liquid use due to the chemical components in the glaze.
Please Note: What appear to be white spots on the surface are reflections from photo lighting.
This piece is hand-signed by Ben Owen III with the year made (1987) and is part of our "Pots From The Past" release. An NC pottery historical jewel!
