This Contour Bowl form reveals the many great qualities of this exquisite Copper Red glaze. With a unique mottled effect of red and turquoise hues, the color variation is created when carbon is introduced into the kiln environment. A chemical conversion of copper from green to red occurs all along the surface of the pot.
Serving bowls have been a part of the home setting for thousands of years. Offering guests, family, or friends a treat or special food dish has been a long-standing tradition across many cultures that continues today. A perfect gift for that hard-to-shop-for friend or family member. Also, a perfect backdrop for displaying a floating flower arrangement. Measuring 3.5”h x 5.5”dia.
Please Note: What appear to be white spots on the surface are reflections from photo lighting.
