This Altered Bowl reveals many of the great qualities of this glaze surface on a medium profile bowl. Pulling the clay and altering the natural form created by wheel-turning, this alteration provides both a physical and visual accent to the overall aesthetic of the bowl. Fully functional, this bowl is appropriate for food use and is dishwasher- and microwave-safe. Measuring 14”l x 8.25"w x 5.5”h.

Covered in a new Ben Owen Pottery proprietary glaze blend, Opal Blue, each piece displays a beautiful array of variegated hues. The glaze was named after the incredible natural color of blue opals.
