Bottle forms have been a favored shape for centuries.  A challenging but rewarding form to create, bottles are one of Ben’s favorite pieces to make on the potter’s wheel.
Traditionally created for the strict purpose of containment, today, bottle forms are appreciated for their delicate decorative shapes which contrast their organic, primal feel.
This beautiful Raku- Fired bottle will hold dried flowers while also being a stunning centerpiece by itself.  Measuring 4.5”w x 6.5”h.

*Raku Fired pottery cannot be used for food or liquid due to the limitation of firing temperature. *Will not hold water* Clean with Windex*

Please Note: What appear to be white spots on the surface are reflections from photo lighting.

This piece is hand-signed by Ben Owen III with the year made (2013) and is part of our "Pots From The Past" series release.  A unique representation of North Carolina pottery history!
